The Transdisciplinary Eating Disorders Program is a specialized service offered throughout the Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec regions by frontline mental health teams.
These teams are composed of professionals from various disciplines, including psychologists, psychoeducators, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, nutritionists, mental health nurse practitioners, and physicians.
Individual sessions and group services (therapeutic groups and nutrition education groups) are available and can be offered virtually or in person.

Target clientele : Adults who voluntarily seek help.
Eating disorders treated : Anorexia – Bulimia – Binge eating disorder – Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)

These resources offer free or low-cost services to the public. Although not all of them specialize in eating disorders, they can provide support, address certain needs, or refer you to the appropriate services.

Allows you to quickly reach a nurse for non-urgent health issues. However, in the event of a serious problem or an emergency, it is important to call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency room.
Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for yourself or a loved one.

To get advice regarding a non-urgent psychosocial issue.
A psychosocial intervention professional can answer your questions, provide recommendations, and, if necessary, refer you to the appropriate resource in your area.

Your CLSC offers various family intervention services, including crisis services. The CAFE service is available in the evenings and on weekends.

Outside of business hours:
Contact the Info-Santé service by dialing 8-1-1 (select option 2/Info-Social). Social workers will be able to guide you, answer your questions, and refer you to the appropriate resource based on your situation.

A place where young people ages 12 to 25 can find free health and wellness services.
