Last week, Awardco launched External Recognitions, which allows customers to recognize employees. Each employee has a designated landing page where people can share the good that happened. Customers get to the landing page by clicking a link or scanning a QR Code. We use AI to understand the sentiment, and if it is positive, the message is sent directly to the employee and posted on a public internal recognition feed for everyone to celebrate. This is how you drive the right behaviors in the workplace. What gets recognized gets repeated. I challenged all Awardies to get creative, and I would reward them with points. I'll feature five fun concepts (some practical, some not) 1. Hunter Winkel made sure I would see him. He perfectly placed his QR Camera directly in my backup camera. I saw him 😀 2. Brianne Hansen decided to get temporary tattoos with her QR Code and placed them directly on her forehead. 3. Marquessa Gibson got so excited she displayed her positive QR code on her garage so all cars that passed by could recognize. 4. Jack Dalton and Michael DeLeeuw placed their QR Codes on their Zoom backgrounds. If they do a great job, they hope to get recognized. 5. Emily Bluth and many other employees now include their recognition links directly in their email signatures.

BETTER than trophies and certificates: This recognition? It comes FROM your colleagues! ⭐Peer-to-peer (P2P) recognition programs are often an UNTAPPED well for boosting employee morale, engagement, and appreciation. ⭐ In a previous role, I noticed a LACK of appreciation within the company culture. This was confirmed by exit interview comments. So, I implemented a P2P recognition program using a software called Motivosity (not a sponsored post!). This platform allowed employees to give each other small cash rewards ($1-$5+) for any reason. The impact was REMARKABLE! We saw significant improvements in employee retention and satisfaction scores. One departing employee even highlighted the program as "the best thing to happen" to their division, crediting it with fostering a positive change in culture. Tips for getting started: ⤵ ✅ Choose the right platform ✅ Promote the program ✅ Lead by example ✅ Make it fun and easy ➡ Have you experienced the power of P2P recognition? #HR #HumanResources #EmployeeAppreciation #CompanyCulture #EmployeeEngagement #PeerRecognition

National Employee Appreciation Day has come and gone. And if you’re leading a team, it probably raised a familiar challenge: 👉 How do you make people feel valued in ways that are meaningful to them—at scale? Every leader I work with wants their people to feel appreciated. But when you’re leading a growing team with different departments, roles, and personalities, recognition can feel overwhelming. 🤔How do you customize recognition when everyone’s different?  🤔How do you make it personal—without burning out yourself or your leadership team? Here’s what I’ve learned: You don’t have to do everything at once. But you do need a plan. ✅ Start by taking turns. Make recognition a leadership habit by reaching different groups of employees at different times. ✅ Spread the responsibility. Use your leadership team, software tools, and systems to scale the effort. ✅ Focus on consistency, not perfection. Small, frequent recognition beats one big gesture once a year. Tools like Nectar, Kudos®, Bonusly, Awardco, and Bucketlist Rewards and Recognition make it easier to celebrate wins—big or small—without the guesswork. Because when recognition is easy to give, it happens more often. And when it happens more often, it starts to shape your culture. These tools don’t replace the human side of leadership, but they do help you stay intentional. And over the course of a year, you can touch every level of the organization with meaningful recognition. When people consistently feel seen and valued, they don’t just feel good in the moment—they stay, engage, and perform at a higher level. Leadership isn’t about checking a box once a year. It’s about creating a rhythm of recognition that reminds people why they matter—all year long. And that’s how you build a culture of high performance that people want to be part of. #Leadership #Culture #HighPerformance #Recognition #EmployeeEngagement

What if 80% of your workforce never felt engaged or recognized? That’s the reality for most companies. A recent BCG study found that 70–80% of workers globally are deskless or frontline, yet they’re often left out of engagement strategies designed for office employees I saw this firsthand on a recent prospect call. Their HR leader casually said, “We’d love to do recognition for our corporate team, but it just isn’t possible for our factory workers.” Our rep jumped in: “Actually, that’s exactly who we built this for.” Today at Awardco we’re releasing the next installment of our Return on Recognition series — this time highlighting the innovative strategies, programs, and technology built for deskless and frontline employees everywhere. Because recognition isn’t something that only happens in email threads or office portals. It needs to happen where the work gets done: on the floor, in the field, or in the cloud. Here’s how Awardco customers with majority-deskless workforces are using our purpose-built features: ⭐ External Recognition: outside-in recognition from customers, patients partners, and community 🤝 AwardCodes: offline, on-the-spot recognition anywhere, anytime 💳 A-Pay: rewards as easy to redeem as a Visa card, usable almost anywhere 📱 Mobile + kiosks: recognition on phones, factory floor screens, or wherever work happens And the results? 📈 18% increase in employee satisfaction with managers 📉 20% decrease in attrition rates ✅ 100% recognition rate — every single employee engaged, no matter where they work The future of work won’t be defined by where people sit, but by how connected and valued they feel to their work. At Awardco we believe recognition is the bridge, uniting employees on the floor, in the field, and in the cloud. If 80% of the workforce is deskless, then 100% of them deserve to be recognized. 📽️ Check out the below video and a few upcoming webinars with some of our customers to learn more 💻
